So this was apparently the month I went all in on describing a hobby I've had since; comparing how the military operates with agile software development. I still think there are lots of good lessons to learn from the military and adapt for the work place.
Then there is a rant about LINQ where it really should say LINQ-to-SQL. Because that was what I had a problem with. LINQ is very nifty to write nice code... Sorry about that...
I was also an idiot for saying it was OK under certain circumstances to track completed effort on tasks in your (agile) project. I don't see any point in that anymore. Even if the team wants it I believe it is a huge waste of time leading only to badness.
Let's end on a positive note with a video explaining C++ pointers to kids...
