ET/U/LP over MVP

Well sometimes my life is easy. Or you could say I'm cheating because today I'll just hand it over to somebody else...

A few weeks ago Henrik wrote this excellent piece on how the term minimum viable product (MVP) is misleading at best and how the right way to think about it is ET/U/L/P. That is, the very first thing you need to build is the earliest testable product (ETP), then you need the earliest usable product (EUP) and then you need to aim for the earliest lovable product (ELP). It's an excellent write-up you should read!
